If you find the idea of counselling in a traditional office setting overwhelming then walk – talk counselling may be a great option for you.


Walking and talking in an outdoor environment is a very natural way to exchange ideas and it can enable the free flow of thoughts that can sometimes be difficult when sitting face to face in a therapists office. Walking can also help us “separate” from our thoughts and provide the space to consider new ideas whilst also enjoying fresh air, natural sunlight and light exercise.


Clients choose the walking route that they prefer and where they feel most relaxed. The pace and distance of the walk is determined by the client.


The usual protocols of counselling such as client confidentiality and safe guarding client’s well-being are all adhered to during these sessions.


Walk – talk counselling is available to clients living in the Greater Geelong area and on the Bellarine Peninsula.
